Whalien was born in a rush, winning the 2018 Summer Meltdown Showdown after playing together for only a few months. The win allowed them t0 perform alongside artists like Lettuce, Greensky Bluegrass, and Big Gigantic at Washington State’s Summer Meltdown Festival.

Since that time the band has played relentlessly around the west coast. They’ve developed a reputation for high-energy live shows featuring surprise trombone solos, energetic disco breakbeats, honky-tonk shuffles and ska suites about cryptids.

Since 2018, Whalien has played more than 200 shows and released two studio albums, ‘For Realien’ in 2022 and ‘Whale Tales’ in 2023. In the Summer of 2024 the band began hosting their own festival, ‘Splish Splash’, which highlights renowned artists from around the country.

Blü Egyptian are coming off another awe-inspiring year. The self-described “Prog-jam that goes ham" band is known for their explosive live performances fusing rock, bluegrass, funk, reggae and electronica. Based in the Sacramento area, the band continues to play for growing audiences in the Northwest, Arizona, Colorado, and Southern California while sharing the stage with renowned national touring acts like Melvin Seals & JGB, Dogs in a Pile, Jerry's Middle Finger, Pink Talking Fish, Dizgo, The Mother Hips and Thumpasaurus. There's been an ongoing buzz from memorable festival sets at Burning Man, Golden Road Gathering, Cascade Equinox, Gambler's Run, Hog Farm Hideaway and more. With each show being different from the last, every set is a soundscape of original songs and choice covers for a dance friendly out-of-body experience.

Clark Engine Company is the full band manifestation of Just Clark, a singer-songwriter reviving the roots of American-made music. Digging into a woody sound that echoes through the hollers, Clark's music embodies a timeless resonance that harks back to the cherished sounds of classic Americana folk. From poet to picker, the native Texan conjures a sound as bright as the Lonestar herself. 

Being more than the stand alone folk type, Clark Engine Company is an electrifying extension that goes beyond a guitar and a pretty voice. With weeping pedal steel and crashing drums it’s full steam ahead for the full band.

Portland Oregon junkbox blues duo HILLSTOMP is infamous for digging through the dumps and forgotten backwoods of American music, recycling traditional elements into a refreshing and distinctive brand of do-it-yourself hill country blues stomp. North Mississippi trance blues, a bit of Appalachia, and a dash of punkabilly come clanging and tumbling from assorted buckets, cans and BBQ lids, all drenched in rambunctious slide guitar. Somehow it works.

Yarrow is a psychedelic rock band based in Western Washington. Utilizing antique equipment and a modern perspective Yarrow brings a steady, spaced out, guitar forward sound. Yarrow is ready to lay down the groove and take you to a timeless place where warm analog sound reverberates your bones to a feel good frequency you may have thought was a thing of the past.  

Blues Faeries rumbled into Olympia in 2021 following a vision guitarist Jon Merithew had to play like Freddie King and other 60’s blues guitarists. Led by members of the inimitable IQU, Michiko Swiggs (synths) and Kento Oiwa (guitar/theremin), Iroiro also feature drummer Justin Schwartz (Cobra High) and bassist/synthesist James Drage (SIL2K). They prove that having a singer is unnecessary when you create music this potently psychedelic. Iroiro haven’t been around very long, but their impact so far has been seismic among true heads, and moving forward, it’s only going to intensify.

Seattle based guitarist Andy Coe (ACB, Skerik Band, McTuff) and drummer D'Vonne Lewis (Digable Planets, McTuff, Industrial Revelation) join forces w PDX keyboardist Galen Clark (Outer Orbit, Trio Subtonic, Sleater-Kinney) for a blend of pocket heavy organ trio funk, psychedelic groove music and experimental electronic tinged jazz.

Generifus is the main musical project of songwriter Spencer Sult. Generifus began performing in 2005. When he was seventeen, Sult began self-releasing music and booking west coast tours. Since then, Sult has recorded with Karl Blau and LAKE, who in turn, have also contributed to live performances and Generifus albums. Sult has lived his entire life in Washington state and currently calls Olympia home. His songs reflect the beauty found in nature and life in the Pacific Northwest, and he has taken those songs on tour all over the United States and into Japan.

A Love Electric is a psychedelic power trio hailing from Mexico City's vibrant jazz scene, blending raw energy with experimental flair across genres. Formed by guitarist and vocalist Todd Clouser, a Minnesota native now rooted in Mexico City, alongside Jorge Servin (originally Hernan Hecht)) and Mexican bassist Aaron Cruz, the band embodies a cross-cultural fusion of rock, jazz, and psychedelia. Emerging from the city's underground music circles, they have carved out a space for unbridled creativity, refusing to conform to market-driven labels and instead channeling imagination into soundscapes that defy categorization.

Sunshine and storm clouds converge at the core of Seattle’s harmony-heavy, Folky Rock and Roll band Small Paul.

Born in and raised Seattleite Kevin Murphy (leader of The Moondoggies) shares drumming and guitar duties with California’s born and raised Chris King (leader of the Chris King & The Gutterballs). Chris brings bandmate and collaborator Malcolm Roberts into the fold on bass guitar and harmony and Seth McDonald to fill it out on keyboard and harmony (member of hip-hop band All Star Opera). These different perspectives all pulled together create the vibe that is Small Paul.

Musically, Small Paul is a 4 headed collaborative effort that began fortuitously during the pandemic as a fusion of 4 musicians living in the same pod. While originally bonding over the shared love of Wings, NRBQ sounding records and singing harmony together late into the night, Small Paul became an outlet and excuse to reckon and engage with each individual's own past and present struggles and to use music as an outlet to create light out of dark days.

Family Worship Center specializes in a strain of redemptive, 1970s-styled rock n’ roll that recalls the Rolling Stones, Leon Russell, The Band, and Delaney & Bonnie. The band formed in 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee founded by prophetic visionary, singer-songwriter and keyboardist Krissberg, but it has since relocated to Portland, Oregon. In 2020, Family Worship Center released the EP Sunday A.M. (2020) recorded by Grammy-winning producer Eddie Spear (Rival Sons, Blackberry Smoke, Lukas Nelson), and featuring musicians associated/who have played with The Band, Deer Tick, Ringo Starr, James Brown, Keith Richards, and Foxygen, among others. The Family’s latest offering—released September 2023—Kicked Out Of The Garden, features a core band of devoted musicians, and was produced by Portland go-to producer Cameron Spies (Spoon Benders, Shivas) who specializes in what he calls “mid-fi.” Kicked Out Of The Garden was tracked in Portland with additional recording done in Philadelphia and Ukraine.  Kicked Out Of The Garden topped the NACC 200 college radio charts for 8+ weeks, was featured on the nationally syndicated NPR program Live Wire Radio, landed on multiple 2023 “Best Of” lists, and has gained hundreds of thousands listeners worldwide. 

Mason’s Children is unlike your average Grateful Dead tribute. This group of youngsters brings to the stage more than just recreations of our favorite Dead tunes… they embody the authentic 1960’s flower child vibration!

Members met on the Golden Road, travelling the Earth and following their dreams. The band first began learning the ropes of the music at Dead and Co / Bob Weir shows, and gained a following by playing at shakedown lots before and after each show.

They are also known for their impromptu Haight Street shows, where they set up plugged in on the corner of Haight and Ashbury playing multiple sets of music, revitalizing Haight of its Summer of Love era.

They are versed in all eras of The Grateful Dead, but currently align more with the 1960’s and 70’s chapter.

Mason’s Children is learning from the Grateful Dead and strongly believe the music will never stop. They are carrying on the legacy of the Dead as well as leaving their own taste of life with original songs and other musical numbers that illuminate the soul.
